Reviewer Guideline

Manuscripts submitted to the JASAB are reviewed by at least two experts in a double-blind review system. The reviewer plays a crucial role by assisting the editor and authors in improving the quality of the articles. After receiving the invitation, the reviewer should inform the editors about the appropriateness and ability to review the articles sent to them.

Reviewer responsibilities

- Make a recommendation on whether a manuscript can be accepted, requires revisions, or should be rejected.

- Provide an objective report by giving a reason and not criticizing the author personally

- Keep confidential all articles that are undergoing a peer review process. If the article is not suitable enough to be published, the article's confidentiality must still be maintained.

- The reviewer can correct the spelling and grammar in the manuscript but cannot consider it as the main reason to reject a manuscript, since, if the paper is accepted, the paper will be professionally copyedited.

- The reviewers should submit their report in a timely manner. JASAB aims to provide an efficient and high-quality publishing service to authors and the scientific community.

If reviewers observe scientific malpractices or fraud, plagiarism, or any other unethical behavior related to the manuscript, they should inform the editor immediately.
